Beth Dover Instagram – You’re Seven today. This was the year we got rid of your rocking chair in your room. The chair we rocked you in every night before bed for years. This was the year we got rid of so many toys because you don’t play with toys as much. This was the year we moved your stool from the bathroom because you’re tall enough now to reach the sink. This was the year certain parks became too “babyish” for you. This was the year I cried every time one more “baby” thing shifted into something new. And I know you’re just going to keep doing this growing thing and I’ll have to keep letting go a little bit more each year. And that, is truly the most heartbreaking gift of my life.
