Celina Jaitly Instagram – A moment frozen in the timeline of Egypt at El-Fishawi, one of the oldest cafés in Cairo (established in 1797) and one of Nobel Laureate Naguib Mahfouz’s favorite cafes at the historic Khan El-Khalili market in Cairo Established in the 14th century.
This shot of mine always makes feel as if I am suspended in animation, as if I was someone lost between era’s and journeying through time.

I worked with @rahul.jashnani personally always to create memorable moments for Jashn, moments with their own stories, histories and secrets.

Our cover features the most beautiful and lovely Trans Ms India, model and actor @naavyaasingh

My column Ironically reaches me today on 19th of April, which reminds me of “Unishe April” the film that gave the genius Trans filmmaker Rituda (Rituparno Ghosh)recognition.

Considering my comeback film SEASONS GREETINGS- which A TRIBUTE TO RITUPARNO GHOSH by another intense filmmaker @ramkamalmukherjee was the first to feature a trans woman @shreeghatak rightfully in a trans role shattering all stereotypes and breaking all norms.

My role in fighting for LGBTQIA rights in India after two decades has found such a wonderful place of joyful observation, where in all the hard work that we activists did all our lives for this freedom is finally bearing fruitful outcomes.

I have had the honour of working closely with @outlookindia and it’s esteemed @giridharjhajournalist in breaking stereotypes about the lgbtqia in India through many interviews.
Stepping into a columnists role in Hindi our National language is a very important step forward for this journey towards equality.

I continue to remain committed to Equality and continue the awareness via my films, my columns and through @unitednations @free.equal campaign.
