Charithra Chandran Instagram – A Desi in Dior ✨ It definitely felt like a moment in history, being present for Dior’s first ever show in India. On a cool Mumbai evening at the foot of the Gateway of India, I saw local Indian artisans, centuries old Indian techniques and traditional Indian designs celebrated and honoured! Indian embroiders have been providing for and supporting luxury fashion houses for decades (often with little acknowledgement) and finally they’re being given credit, front and centre.
