You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. And on that note of respecting other artists: this photograph of Martha Graham was taken in 1931 by Imogen Cunningham who became a photographer at the start of the twentieth century. Her body of work is beautiful and this book which was a gift, is a reminder on why photography is such a beautiful art form, and why we should all continue to buy books so that we never lose the ASMR sound of pages turning. 🤍
