Cynthia Nixon Instagram – When I was 16 I had the enormous honor of being cast in Amadeus, directed by the great Milos Forman. Making a movie that would go on to win 8 Academy Awards was really something, but the experience was particularly memorable because we shot in Czechoslovakia under communist rule. To celebrate 40 years since the making of the film, the amazing Daniela Retkova organized a reunion of the Czech cast and crew with the American and international filmmakers in Prague at the fabulous @doxprague Museum where we all shared memories and stories. As a special treat, accomplished concert pianist @miroslav_sekera—who portrayed 8 year old Mozart in the movie—played the piano for us. 🎹 It was an incredibly moving evening!
