It was easy to be a cheerleader at The BAFTA Games Award in an audience filled with such talented and courageous game devs and storytellers. It was a joy, in equal parts, to be honored with my nomination for “Best Performer in a Supporting Role” for my performance capture as Freya in God of War Ragnarök as it was to cheer on, discover and properly fan girl over all the brilliant minds behind the most innovative video games on every platform.
Once again, my deepest gratitude to BAFTA Games Awards for honoring my work as Freya in the God of War franchise with a second nomination. My time celebrating with you and London was filled with the wonderful things that dreams are made of. My eternal gratitude to the entire TEAM at Sony @santamonicastudio for choosing and trusting me to breath life into their Queen of the Valkyries, Leader of the Vanir, Norse Goddess Freya for the past 9 years. You’ve become my family in this interactive experience that has unexpectedly ans unequivocally changed my life forever.
