To this situation
But
there are also simple truths
In Protecting old growth forests
We also help to save ourselves
Not destroying ancient forests
These eco systems
On land & in waterbodies
Is the 1st place to start
Our 1st line of defense
literally the first solution
that should be employed in order to adequately address our climate crisis
Despite all the complexities
the necessary
&
simple answer is –
to do no more harm
no further destruction
