Dia Frampton Instagram – Ireland – My two cents’ worth. 🍀

Bring rain boots. ☔️

Queen of Tarts was my favorite spot for breakfast or tea time. (They close Mon & Tues).

Dublin is a sad, beautiful, and vibrant city… but take time to explore the small towns. Howth, I’ve heard from the locals, is a must see and not far from Dublin. And gorgeous Dun Laoghaire was a 30 min. ride on the Dart. (Train in Dublin).

The bus is tricky and frustrating. Even the locals don’t like it and find it unreliable. Rent a car or take the train. (Also, buses only take coin, or a travel card you have to buy in advance). I found it confusing.

Uber and Lyft are illegal in Ireland… but there are taxis around in busy areas like Temple Bar.

Vintage Cocktail Club was a nice evening. (Reservations are a MUST! I found that out the hard (cold and rainy) way.

The Book of Kells and Long Hall at the Trinity college library was stunning. And the smell of old books… mmmmm. 🥰

Christ’s Church was nice. (Venture into the catacombs underneath it. Can be easily missed).

St. Patrick’s Cathedral … also a dream.

Merchant’s Arch was a bar I enjoyed, right off the river Liffey by the Ha’ Penny bridge.

Rosa Madre was a nice Italian spot. Not to throw shade but… it’s great if you’re close by, but I wouldn’t schedule your day around it. Wonderful but not life changing.

A good matcha latte… good luck. Let me know if you find one. 😂

And sure, St. Peter’s Green is “just a park,” but it was my favorite spot. I dunno. I like nature. And I love parks and walking around and staring at flowers. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Cobblestone Pub and The Brazen Head were fun pubs and had great live music.

Temple Bar area was too touristy and … Vegas-y for my liking but… entertaining to walk through to say the least. You’ll see a lot of public urination and throwing up in alley ways… and I have a feeling those folks weren’t Irish.

I didn’t have time on this trip but I’ve heard Belfast, Cork, Galway and of course the cliffs are worth it. Next time.

There’s a lot more to say about Ireland. If you have any questions, especially about spots you saw I visited in my stories, let me know in the comments below and I’ll try to answer more specifically. ❤️🍀
Dia Frampton Instagram – Over the past 18 years, with all my ups and downs, this band has always been a constant support for me. It’s brought me so much joy, laughter, love, and community. It has taught me patience, gratitude, responsibility and how to drive a van and trailer in the winter in Canada. 😝 I am so grateful for this band family and cannot wait to share the new @meganddiamusic record with ya’ll. (Ya, I say ya’ll now cause we’re in Texas, baby!)
