For the @jashnerekhtaofficial ‘Rang Baatein’ in Delhi recently i wore this beautiful outfit by @tillabyaratrikdevvarman. ‘THE VINTAGE PROJECT’ uses heirloom embroideries from Kutch and Sindh and repurposes them as one-of-a-kind kurtas and jackets. The yoke of this kurta features Mukka embroidery from Sindh, which is a traditional folk embroidery where gold and silver yarn are plyed and coiled into circular designs that follow a loose geometry. The metallic yarns are couched to the base with red thread and further layered with copper Nakshi and beads.
