Kate Bosworth Instagram – Does it feel like 2002 yet?? 💗 My collection w/ @roxy is now available (!!!) & while I was trying to think of something clever to say, the truthful feeling to relay is gratitude. Thank you to my @roxy family for the opportunity to go back to my roots. Shooting this campaign on the North Shore of O‘ahu felt like a homecoming to my 18 year old self, first peering out at a death-defying wave called Pipeline and wondering how the heck I was going to pull off a movie titled “Blue Crush.” Thank you to @thelucbrinker for believing in me (nearly 20 yrs!) and this collection from the very start. I know you will always have my back: loyalty, love, truth. 🦋 To @alique_studio who I have dreamed of working with for years and who so graciously and brilliantly dove into the creative, photographing me and all the incredible female surfers (my heroes!!!) who participated in this campaign. 🏄🏼‍♀️ @bridgetbragerhair (my lord I love you with my whole heart, for a long time and for many, many years to come… you are my sister with a heart of gold. 💛) @nathanhejl for your kindness, delicacy, and sincerely talented eye. My 40 year old self only WISHES she had you by her side 20 years ago, but boy am I blessed to know you and love you now. I would like to acknowledge ALL of you who have brought so much love and generosity of spirit to me and to Blue Crush over the years. Your stories move me beyond measure – to know that somehow, we had a small part in your life’s story is extraordinary to me, and I do not take this honor for granted- ever- not even for a moment. Aligning with my younger self allowed me to remember that we CAN dream big if we work hard and focus. That fear and doubt is a lifelong relationship, only understood and accepted through love, vulnerability and courage. And to remember to ask yourself, “what is that I think I’m waiting for?” ….
