I’m so grateful to be alive and that my baby girl was born healthy. But I’m also aware that not all my black sisters are as fortunate to have access to proper healthcare & prenatal care.
Black women are 3x more likely to die than white Women during childbirth due to racial bias by nurses/doctors, structural racism, and lack of access to proper medical care.
