Lakshmi Manchu Instagram – What started as a mere dream, has now become a reality of transformative education for thousands of young minds. A year ago, Teach for Change in partnership with Pegasystems, embarked on a mission to bring a ray of hope to the Yadari Bhuvanagiri District. With a burning passion to transform education, we set out to create a lasting impact in the lives of the children in the region. With the trial of a groundbreaking Training of Trainers (ToT) model, 56 government schools were transformed into smart classrooms and the results are nothing but extraordinary. Over 3,000 young students have experienced a transformative change in their Foundational Literacy Skills, thanks to the tireless efforts of Headmasters and English teachers. Through Baseline, Mid-Line, and End-Line Assessments, the collective determination and hard work of Teach for Change, Pegasystems, Yadadri District Administration, Department of School Education and the Headmasters and teachers, have produced impressive results. The number of bottom-performing students decreased from 56% to 32% The number of high-performing students increased from 5% to 18% The number of average-performing students rose from 39% to 50% Ms. Pamela Satpathy IAS, District Collector and Magistrate, and Mr. Deepak Tewari IAS, Additional Collector eloquently spoke about the positive impact that Teach for Change has created by mentioning the development of smart classrooms, which is furthering the interest in education. With this remarkable achievement, we are even more determined to touch the lives of more children, helping them discover their true potential and giving them the tools to succeed in life.
