Medalion Rahimi Instagram – the final days on set of @ncisla ❤️ it’s taken me a while to post because of the many mixed emotions…I am humbled to have gotten the chance to work with some of the most talented and professional people in television. Some I’m lucky enough to call life long friends. What a thrill it has been to be apart of one the most celebrated shows on tv. There were tough moments, where the responsibility of playing this role and the complexity of emotions I felt about my character’s identity forced me to really take a look at myself and my own choices. I have always strived to pursue positive, honest representation of Muslims and Iranians, and sometimes there is a lack of those opportunities. The only way to really be heard is to be seen. And I hope Fatima made some of you feel seen and heard. I will continue to do my best to amplify our people’s voices and share our stories. I am eternally grateful to everyone at CBS and for my NCIS:LA family for this opportunity and for always making me feel safe and at home ❤️ And to the fans, you are what made this all possible.
