Micaela Diamond Instagram – it’s our 70th show. And the 110th anniversary of Mary Phagan’s death. I’ve learned many things but here are 3. During bows every night, the Star of David hanging on my chest wacks me in the face when I fold in half and it feels like a nice metaphor. secondly, I am in awe of my whole company. It’s so completely uncasual what we do and yet they make it look quite easy. my performance would be nowhere without them. And lastly, sometimes I’m pitchy and sometimes I forget lines but I don’t have to make up reasons for why that happens. It all goes better when I just leave it to the ghosts in our theater to decide why I can’t remember the name of the drug store in Atlanta. (I said it was Jordan’s drug store today. It’s Jacob’s. It’s Jacob’s drug store.)
