Life has its language, that we learn along the way!
Everyone experiences this language differently!
What u take away from an incident could be trauma, a lesson, a scarred soul, an indelible memory!
These days where I am physically challenged to do many tasks that I would otherwise do in a jiffy, I have had a lot of time to slow down my thoughts…and I have realised that life is what happens to you when you are busy living it.
What is to happen is destined and inevitable!
So today I stop blaming myself for all that went wrong when I look back!
Instead I look back, take my deciphered message and put it in my actions!
Mostly every lesson learnt so far has had a single core message – “Compassion” – one trait that will never let me down!
Even when my compassion makes people take me for granted!
Even when my compassion makes me look weak!
Even when my compassion makes me look wrong!
I am sure as the story of life unfolds it will be compassionate towards me ♥️
It has to, because I sowed no other seed!

Dear Wheelchair, ♥️
Thank you for being my feet and taking me places!
I was so dependent on you and yet u made me feel so independent.
Had it not been for you, I could have easily missed out on so many experiences!
U enabled me to do the most basic things, get ready, open my wardrobe, visit the washroom, go to the mall, watch my child play…
You humbled me by connecting me with fellow humans going through the same phase!
Strangers smiled at me kindly and held the lift doors!
At a time in life when I was on the verge of losing all hope, you showed me that empathy still existed!
You empowered me with this feeling of gratitude that I write about today!
Who said inanimate things can’t leave an indelible mark in your heart?
I mean, “Thank You”.

In the middle of the most “fashionable” and “trendy” summer camps that I see parents taking pride in enrolling to, coz somehow that has also become a social-stature thing, I found the most humble and simple camp in a homely set up, where kids danced, sang, made pastries and learnt dohas! Nothing structured but random beautiful things…
Like the home-tuition classes i would attend in my childhood..
All the children sitting on the floor and just learning simple things of life!
The virtues that some of us parents aren’t able to give at home since now it’s become more of visiting high-end play areas that account to spending time with your child, while u sip on expensive green teas!
This is just an appreciation post for this beautiful mum called Neetu for teaching this to my Littloo ♥️

Sometimes I feel like Jerry who’s little tail is held by Tom’s big hand – while Jerry feels he’s run away and covered some distance, Tom (in my case ‘Life’) is watching him from the corner of his eyes with that meany smile!

Learning to walk again has been nothing short of an experience!
As I make baby steps towards progress from this sudden unplanned pause in my life, I feel gratitude that life in it’s strangest ways did listen to me telling myself to “slow down”.
Yeh alag baat hai ki itni baar Mann mein bola hoga ki life ne suna “stop”.
Everyday i wake up respecting my body more for the endurance it has shown and the resilience that it surprises me with.
Have finally started going to office again, missed it so much!
I have loved being alone here and working uninterruptedly for hours!
The silence, the peace, the continuous calming frangrance from my lavender rose candles and the nature sounds of @calm have been my besties here!
Restarting work with gratitude that I could have lost more, my healing could have been longer, but I am doing well inspite of some hiccups along the way, after all your prayers and good wishes have been my backbone ❤️🩹
So, thank you my lovelies 🥰 for being so awesome!
