In the last week there have been 2 mass shootings in Texas, and not only have politicians gleefully invoked God and more praying, your governor Greg Abbott posted a picture of his dog in response to the shooting in Cleveland, TX, where 5 people were killed, including two women who threw their bodies on children to save them (and died in the process.) In Allen, Texas, where 8 were killed, a kid is now an orphan after his mom, dad and brother were killed and another family lost both of their daughters in the mall shooting. This is of course after the elementary school shooting last year in Uvalde where 19 LITTLE KIDS and two teachers were massacred. Why are these mass shooters targeting children and why would anyone allow them access to these weapons? Texas politicians don’t care about you or your kids when there are clear ways to stop the insanity. Kids should walk out. If I were a parent, I would also walk out. Enough.
