Thank you to my sweet boy Iah, for giving me the opportunity to be your mama. I’m not gonna sugarcoat it because this year has been so hard. Between giving birth and looking after a newborn while moving… TWICE, having to help my in pain baby boy with gut issues that I knew weren’t normal, dealing with PPA, all while completing my Bachelors Degree, auditioning and breastfeeding, well… it’s taken a lot out of me. (Shout out to @kariospeedwagon for being my partner in it all.) You have given me perspective, and although I didn’t know ANYTHING about babies (including the fact that they couldn’t have water for 6 months!?) I am grateful to have you as my teacher. I love you more than I can handle, I love you so much it hurts. You are my everything and more. To all the mamas out there, to all who are trying to be mamas and to all who couldn’t be mamas, Happy Mother’s Day! 🤍🧿

4 months today. 1 year since we found out he was arriving. There’s so much to say I don’t even know where to start… This has simultaneously been the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life as well as the most awe inspiring. I’m not very good at getting personal on social media so I’m not going to get too into it, but I would like to say this… We had our final show of Ink last night. It was probably the best experience I’ve had in my career for many reasons. But mostly because this quirky, funny, disjointed bunch came together in such a magical way. We loved what we were doing and we loved doing it together. Grateful to have met and worked with every single one of you! The anxiety and realization of not getting to do this everyday with you has quickly started and I miss you all already. Love you guys!!! 😭❤️ #inkbroadway #iLookLikeABrownBabySpice
