We are cutting our GROWING babies open because we are terrified that they might possibly be fat. We are treating thinness (we always have & it’s deeply rooted in racism & anti Blackness) like it’s the only way to exist. You know who suffers here?! Our children that you claim to love & care about. WLS surgery on our youth is not the answer, & yes I know “everyone is different”, but this ain’t it. If we want better, we have to do better & our youth deserve better.
