I’ll never stop running into situations over and over throwing caution to the wind and ruling from the kindness of my heart with good intentions. The heart knows what the heart wants but the heart doesn’t always let us win. As humans we do the best we can with what we are given. And, strive everyday to push past that comfort zone to be more. To do more. While parenting is the most rewarding job it’s quite literally the hardest job. The only thing I feel I can pass onto my kids that they can’t learn from life, books, electronics, or AI is : kindness. I’ve witnessed enough of human behavior in this lifetime to feel very confident that it’s not completely nature and it’s not completely nurture. Sometimes it’s in you or it’s not. Humans create miracles. We also are responsible for creating some of the most horrific monsters of this lifetime. A bold statement which can span from the grandiose to the cravens that slither by. At the heart of it we were all once totally pure infants brought into this world. Today, I am grateful to all humans that have affected the human and mother I am. Every interaction, every touch, every emotion, every word said or not said has affected me on levels I’ll never understand but am grateful for as its part of my journey. To those who’ve I’ve affected in a positive way at any point in your journey I appreciate you even in your silence as much as those with outpouring of heartfelt words and emotions. To our children.
