She’s another person (along with Brad Pitt) that I’ve watched my entire life, so it’s really cool to be able to shoot a moment with them and bring them to life in slow-mo. I think she came reletively early at the Oscars (I can tell by my calm demanor lol) so this was more of a relaxing experience directing her rather than a hectic one. Anyways, I’m stoked to see her episode of Black Mirror which comes out later this month. It was peak busy, and we had a little hiccup in the operation, this is literally the first time this has happened and after shooting 100 GlamBOTs at 5 events a year, for the past 6 years… that’s 3000 GlamBOTs, so I wasn’t stressing it. Honestly, upon watching this again, I had to search my records to see if I had shot her before based on her friendly hello. Turns out I hadn’t, she’s just that friendly! lol. I think Sigourney passes the vibe check on this one! Double handshake, tells me the GlamBOT is always fun! She’s the best. It’s kind of funny how much slow-motion draws out reality, beucase as she spins, it literally takes her 1/4 of a second to find the camera in person, but in the edit the moment gets drawn out a little longer, long enough for the internet to take it and run with it (lol do you know what I am talking about?)
