In fact, in a 2021 YouGov survey, 52% of Americans said they were more introverted than extroverted, with 12% calling themselves “completely introverted.” It’s time to consider the immense potential of introverts in leadership positions. Introverts are known to possess high levels of creativity, they’re critical thinkers and problem solvers, they’re great listeners, and they’re thoughtful risk-takers. We want to hear from you! D.B. Woodside Instagram – You may remember I was recently asked to come speak to the class of 2023 at my undergrad alma mater, @ualbany. I’ll be sharing my speech in full over this week! Today is part 1.

I had a wonderful time and would like to thank president Havidán Rodríguez, all of the faculty at the department of music and theatre where my career began, the Class of 2023 on graduation day and especially Mary Johnson, senior major gift officer, for arranging everything and taking such excellent care of my Mom and I! 💜💛
