David Loy Instagram – 6 months clean off the bullshit. I thank @brandon__novak and @novakshouse for giving me an opportunity to change my life around once again. This was the first time I’ve went to a sober living after treatment and I would do it again and again with what I know now and how I can deal with my problems and pain in a different way than using to temporarily ease my pain. Addiction isn’t an easy thing to deal with or even admit to having a problem, but once you do and you reach out and ask for help and do the right things in order to get through each day one day at a time I promise you it will get easier. There’s always gonna be hard times but the good times out weigh the hard times. Sober Living for me was an amazing experience with people from all walks of life with the same problem and that’s ADDICTION. If you have mental health or addiction problems I encourage you to speak out about them rather than hold them in and let it eat you up inside because we’re not promised tomorrow. DO IT FOR THE ONES THAT CANT. THE ONES WEVE LOST TO THIS DISEASE. THE ONES THAT CANT TELL THERE LOVED ONES THEY LOVE THEM. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY DO IT FOR YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU DESERVE A BEAUTIFUL LONG LIVED LIFE WITHOUT BATTLING YOUR INNER DEMONS AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE. I LOVE YOU ALL. YOU ARE LOVED NEVER FORGET THAT AND I PRAY YOU FIND PEACE WITHIN YOURSELF. THANK YOU SKATEBOARDING, FRIENDS AND FAMILY FOR SUPPORTING ME THROUGH THE THICK AND THIN OF THIS JOURNEY OF LIFE.
