Then met the man himself @declanrice at the last home game of the season, before being asked by the amazing @westham staff if I want to come train with the boys at rush green and maybe play in the @tst7v7 tournament in NC (silly question). I had the time of my life out there. I’ve grown up watching all these guys play for the club I love, and they say never meet your idols, but these boys have exceeded any expectations I could’ve had of them. I also had tickets to Prague for the final so spent 24 hours at home, before waiting at Gatwick airport for 5 hours as the flight was delayed and would’ve got us in around full time. So we bit the bullet and joined the rest of the boys at a pub back home to watch the game. And what a game it was. Bubbles didn’t fade, fortunes didn’t hide, West Ham are massive, Bowens on fire, and I am one lucky lad. ⚒️❤️
