We first rehearsed hanging from a bar with my knees bent and dropping through with a foot tap to absorb some of the impact. It looked great and after the rehearsal was sent to the Director and producers everyone was happy. But after discussing some stuff with Al it was revealed that the director’s original vision was a flat hard drop to my side. This was defiantly a gnarlier choice but I knew if I propped my body just above the tiles and came in flat the impact could be evenly distributed across my body.
