Johnny Weir Instagram – 13.2.2023 For one reason or another, whether it be weight, condition, injury or fear, I haven’t attempted a triple Axel since 2020. This is the very first try on my road to having it back in my arsenal before I step away from performing. By no means is this a good technical attempt, but I stomped out my fear, breathed and prepared emergency contacts for 7 minutes before going for it and I didn’t hurt myself. No matter how long it takes you to challenge yourself, it makes one feel very alive. 🤍
