So a little story time! When me and @brandoncolbein write together he always sings the demo because he’s the best singer alive. When he started to cut the demo for this @riseofthepinkladies song I was like “give it more glam rock meets drag queen vibes! @annabeloakes is thinking about casting a queen for this role!” And Brandon said “uuuhhh well then shouldn’t you sing the demo? Glam rock queen vibes is all you.” So I said “ooo yeah fun! I never sing demos. What a riot!” Well…the next day @annabeloakes and @aletheajones called and were like “we fucking love the song…and you sound fabulous! Any interest in playing the role?” I gave up performing a long long time ago…but the chance to wear this much makeup and FLY?!??? How could I say no.
