Over the course of three days he showed me how to built a traditional American long bow. Shaping a rough hackberry timber, into this. An excellent teacher, I look forward to refining my skills and building my next bow. Who wants me on their zombie team ?

For the past few month’s I have volunteered at a soup kitchen in my neighborhood. When lock down started we had to change course, making bag meals. I feel lucky that I have some place to be every Friday. #volunteering
