Vinny, or Vincent Sr., is the husband of Donna, father of Diane and Vincent Jr. A mechanic from Brooklyn, he and Donna eventually settled in Lynbrook (Long Island) to raise their kids in a nice neighborhood and send them to better schools. Their relationship might not show it today, but Vinny & Donna were very much in love back in the day and he was smitten with her. Deep down, he does long to have that feeling back. Having Nonno and Nonna (her parents) living with them has put some more stress on them both. A simple guy, he loves to work hard during the day and then spend time with his family in the evening. Most nights you’ll find him eating dinner, catching an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond, and then heading to bed. Don’t mind the hard exterior – inside, he loves his family and wants what’s best for everyone. And though they clash sometimes, Diane was always daddy’s little girl. He does love Vincent Jr. – he does! And is very protective over Nonno.
