Practicing Yoga during your periods can be super beneficial, so don’t listen to anyone who says otherwise. It helps to:
✅ Ease symptoms like menstrual cramps, bloating and backache
✅ Release endorphins or happy hormones in the body
✅ Calms the mind and leaves you feeling refreshed and pumped up
✅ Regularises irregular periods
Next time you’re on your period, remember to move and do not give in the urge to just lie down.
Also, listen to your body and see what you’re comfortable with. Practice more restorative asanas that don’t not push your body’s limit.
