But nothing beats a trip downtown to see your favourite spunky sparks light the skies. “A stitch in time, saves nine,” they say, and it couldn’t have been a better moment to chomp that Big Apple. Thank you for hosting me @mslesliebibb- for turning the heat up to 76 so my nose didn’t get too cold, for lending me Gus so I didn’t miss my huz and/or my plush toy too much, for swapping my puffer jacket with your tighter-space-approved garb for cab-to-curb expeditions, for treating me to the gushiest post road-trip stretching with the incomparable @jennybrillyoga, for being an excellent honorary little liar and getting us in to see Sam slam it out the park at #CircleInTheSquare, for reconnections with long lost loves, for water, and electrolytes, 10k steps, pre-game scrambles, bagels, cashmeres et al. So many prizes. But YOU are my very favourite prize of all, Frau. Since 1999.
