Yes, you read that right! 20 years of research, in-depth study, and a deep seated passion, by eminent theatre personality, writer, director, Sriram Sharma Sriram sir, for bringing to the stage for the whole world to see, what fiery, ambitious and hardcore rulers of our motherland have achieved hundreds of years ago in the face of the ruthless British.. our very own fierce warrior queen, who did the unthinkable.. she actually brought the British to their knees. Hers is a history of many firsts, all of which must be known to one and all. “Velu Nachiyar” This play has been staged a few times in its original Tamil version and has wowed the audiences with its striking visuals, song-dance sequences and passionate performances. Now, set to play out in English at the prestigious G-20 Summit, OVM Theatres presents, Sriram Sharma’s, ” Velu Nachiyar”.
