Home Actress Dia Mirza HD Photos and Wallpapers June 2023 Dia Mirza Instagram - We won! GRAY, our first ever @weareyuvaa x @amazonminitv short film won the Best Short Film Award at the @iwmbuzz Awards tonight. But my favourite part of the evening was getting to collect it alongside @diamirzaofficial, who has been the most gracious actor I have had the privilege of working with. During the pre-production of Gray, we wanted someone truly compassionate to play the pivotal role of the therapist in the film, to talk 'consent'. @sakshirg @puneetruparel & I couldn't think of anyone better than Dia. Within 24 hours of my DM, Dia had read the script, agreed to do it, decided to give her fee to charity, and had the most thoughtful words of feedback on the writing! She then met me and played the sweetest host, diving deep into character and themes of the film, while eager to know more about Yuvaa and my work.. which she's been incredibly supportive of anyway! On set, she was a dream to work with. First to arrive, always humility personified, more calm than all the rest of us not only about her role, but even when any of us needed reassurance about our work too. And as an actor, I have rarely come across such grace, composure and generosity on camera. Oftentimes, I have struggled to find people who are great at their work but also kind, earnest and grounded about it, especially when they reach a certain stature. I have always believed you can have talent - and success - without being an asshole. And working with Dia, I couldn't stop being in awe of how she's proof that this is possible! She's the kind of person I hope to someday be, if I ever reach her level of success & impact (especially with all the AMAZING work she does on climate change with the UN & the SDGs!). This year, I tried making a promise to myself that I'm going to be more measured on social media and not make too many fanboy posts about folks I admire (sometimes, they end up not nice 💔). But honestly, each time I get the opportunity to hang with Dia, it feels so wholesome, honest and real, I just couldn't stop myself from writing ❤️ Thank you for being who you are, Dia. You truly do make the world a better place ☺️🤗 All others: do watch our film GRAY on @amazonminitv for FREE!
