Dia Mirza Instagram – Such an honour wearing a hand-crafted & hand-embroidered achromatic custom Ka-Sha @ka_sha_india dress, made in mashru silk and cotton. With geometric applique surface patterns and mirror embroidery, the gown was made in 360 hours by three master artisans. The applique patterns are cut in way to create minimal wastage and they eventually find their way back into different pieces that they make. Ka-Sha uses clothing as a medium to celebrate hand-crafts. They view their work as a celebration of life and people, stories, journeys and perspectives are at the core of their inspiration.
