Dia Mirza Instagram – This #IIFA2023 was an important one. It marked the partnership between @uninindia @unep and @iifa to take the message of the #SustainableDevelopmentGoals and #BeatPlasticPollution to the film fraternity and all the lovers of Indian Cinema. By leveraging the twin engines of creativity and arts, we can inspire collective action for the Sustainable Development Goals. @iifa provided us the platform to speak and engage with people from all walks of life. To help each person understand that we are in the midst of a triple planetary crisis of #ClimateChange, #BiodiversityLoss and #Pollution. This impacts the lives of all people, everywhere. But most importantly it impacts the health and well being of our children. The #SDGs are a to do list for the world and each of us to rebuild a world that is free of pollution, a world that is healthy, peaceful and equal for all people. It was an honour and privilege to talk about the #GlobalGoals #SDGs at #IIFA2023 🙏🏻 If all of us can take active part in championing at least one goal we can truly make a difference.
