Dominique Domingo Instagram – Revisiting this moment of self inquiry & contemplation I had in bed last month in the middle of my morning practice. That morning, after a good cry, I had this urge to verbally work out what was coming up rather than continuing to write it down in my journal. And something nudged me to film myself even though I had not one thought about it being seen in that moment. Watching it back feels like a beautiful reminder for me of our humanity. The dance of remembering who we truly are only to forget again so that we can remember. No matter how much light is shining on this plane of existence, there will always be a shadow cast somewhere. Some big, some small. And the point is not to get rid of the shadow because I personally don’t feel one can rid themselves of every single shadow at anytime point in time in this life. But we can take a deep breath and let the shadow in all the way. Over and over.
