Emily Marie Palmer Instagram – You know those skits that you put together with your friends or your siblings as a kid, where you have a bag of random props, or some key word scribbled on a piece of paper, and you have to work together to form some kind of coherent story out of it all?
That’s kind of what this little film was for @joeyciccoline and I. Except instead of a bag of random props, we had a family trip to Utah planned, Joey’s stellar VFX skills at our disposal, and the fact that we want to work with @jeffdickamore (and @auroraflorence ) on literally everything we create. Forever grateful to our TINY but mighty 2 person crew @kgrrsten @webegdawg – thank you for sweating in the least hospitable place on the planet with us for 2 days to make this. 😅
This film got caught up in “post production” for a ridiculous amount of time, and part of it was because I kept stalling, wondering what would be the point of sharing our silly “fun” art. We’re not pitching anything. We’re not asking for donations or likes or shares, or trying to make this into a series, or a feature. It’s just… fun? (A novel concept, I know.) But, as I’m realizing more and more… sometimes it’s okay to “just” have fun with what I create. ☺️
