Home Actress Emma Kimiläinen HD Photos and Wallpapers June 2023 Emma Kimiläinen Instagram - I'm sad to learn the news of W Series entering administration. 💔 W Series gave us drivers many unforgettable memories and experiences, new opportunities and contacts, lifelong friendships, but most importantly, allowed many to become professional athletes. I agree with many drivers when we say that W Series DID NOT fail. We will only later realise the true impact of W Series in this industry when we talk about diversity and equality. There have been talks, but W Series was the first in this scale with concrete actions and investment supporting female athletes, engineers and mechanics in the motorsport industry. Also, looking back at these 4 past years... pandemic, war, energy crises, inflation... not the easiest times to start and run a new groundbreaking business in any industry, but especially in the motorsport industry. Back in 2018, when I was headhunted to take part in the selection process for the series, I asked about the purpose of W Series' existence. I was being told that: "generally, you can't be what you can't see, so we want all the young girls to see the best female talent on the top of Motorsport. Then they, including their parents, could "rethink racing" and see themselves following your footsteps." Back then, as a mother to a little girl, the impact of inspiration really hit me the first time. Therefore, I have faith that W Series will rise sooner or later. But until then, a big shout out and thank you to all fans, partners, investors, employees, driver colleagues and media for making it happen and for the support. A special thanks to Catherine, our mama lion, who has fought incredibly hard for W Series' existence since the beginning. 🫶 #wseries #rethinkracing #womeninmotorsport #motorsport #racing
