“Cancer became just like a flu…”
Ali, a young man from Iraq who lived on a @bp_plc oil field, died of leukaemia last Friday.
His father challenged BP at its AGM, demanding an end to its cancer-causing pollution.
Ali fought for a world free of toxic fossil fuels, where children could breathe clean air. His death should be a turning point in the fight to stop big oil’s deadly pollution.

Climate strike week 243. Today I’m striking outside Sweden’s Representation in the EU, in Brussels. My home country Sweden currently holds the presidency of the Council of the EU. Next week ministers will gather in Sweden to discuss forestry, among other things. The Swedish forestry model has been proven to be disastrous for both the climate, environment and Sámi indigenous- and human rights. We cannot let Sweden further impact the EU’s forest policies.
Sweden’s ever expanding forestry has been criticised by the scientific community, indigenous Sámi villages as well as the climate- and environmental movement. The country and its industries often claim that we have record amount of forests, but while we do have many trees in plantations aimed to be cut down, monocultural plantations are not forests. We are losing the last remaining natural forests, which are invaluable for carbon sinks, biodiversity and indigenous people in Sápmi.
We desperately need to #StopExpansionStartRestoration . #ClimateStrike #FridaysForFuture #ForestsAreNotRenewable Sveriges EU-representation

Tack!

Support my fundraiser!
Today, on World Autism Awareness Day, I want to draw attention to all children who often struggle with diagnoses. I have therefore started a fundraiser for @MinStoraDag for which I am an ambassador. Min Stora Dag means ”My Special Day” and is a Swedish organization that fulfills wishes for children struggling with serious illnesses and diagnoses.
Many of these children have autism and I know from my own experiences how important a joyful moment can be in a sometimes quite tough everyday life. As their ambassador, I have seen first hand the difference their work makes.
If you are able, please support my fundraiser by donating what you can help with, big or small are welcomed. Click on the link in my bio to support!
Together we make a difference for these children. Thank you!

School strike week 249. Today the theme for our strike is biodiversity. It is crucial – both for the climate and biodiversity – that we #RestoreNature. This means restoring our greatest ally in tackling the climate and biodiversity crises. We now have an immense opportunity to turn the tide for nature in Europe: the Nature Restoration Law. The fact that some committees of the European Parliament are now in favour of rejecting this law is very alarming. We urge every member of the European Parliament to save this law – and by doing so save lives. Show your support and tell the decision-makers to restore nature at the link in my bio. #StopExpansionStartRestoration

Today marks the 600th day since the Supreme Court ruling! Despite the apologies from the Norwegian government, there has been taken no serious action to solve the human rights violations. Apologies with no actions are simply empty words. We demand them to take down the wind turbines and restore and return the land to fosen sámis. Join us today, and share to help us spread awareness!
