It was truly an enriching experience to be a part of such an amazing panel and have a meaningful discussion on a topic that is really close to my heart – ‘Reimagining gender equality for women in small town India’. I was truly amazed to learn that Whisper Menstrual Health & Hygiene Program has educated over 2 crore girls on puberty & hygiene over last two years.
I think, self-belief is very important. Whatever you do, when you know you are doing the right work, then you do not need to listen to others. When I started playing cricket, people started asking me “Why not try another sport? Why cricket? You are such a good athlete you can play any sport.” I think if you believe in yourself then you can achieve what you really wanted. It is important to show the people that belief so they start trusting in their dreams.
This is what makes us #Unique and #United to be able to drive an important change in society. Thank you once again P&G India. Our future is going in the right direction.
