How I Saved Money in Pattaya 🏝️
1️⃣ Use Public Transport (not taxis) to travel around the city. It took 10 bahts for a single round along the beach where most of the tourist destinations were situated.
2️⃣ Visit in off season and book the flight tickets for a weekday (not friday) (so I visited in mid may and ticket prices were 10% lower)
3️⃣ If you want to explore the city yourself, hire a bike (will cost around 200-1000 baht depends on which bike you are renting)
4️⃣ Don’t worry about the water bottle and food, the cost is same as in India (₹300-400 per meal)
5️⃣ If you are travelling from Pattaya to Bangkok book a bus and not a taxi (if you are actually travelling light, not like me 😿)
👉 It will take around ₹400 one way so total ₹800
6️⃣ Airport is 1.5 hrs away from the main city to reach there, its best to go by Bus or a van (mini bus) which will cost around ₹400-500 one way
7️⃣ Drink the Local Draft beer (₹100-200 pint)
8️⃣ Negotiate Hard! I bought a tshirt which was worth 490 bahts in 350 baht so the point is, negotiate whenever you buy something from local shops
