to serve the needs of her community in the #SouthBronx through access to healthy and affordable food choices; to provide a safe space for Black women and girls. She created #TheBLKProjek to be the change she wanted to see, nourishing many with both food to eat and food for thought. .

The BLK Projek is now #TenYearsDeep in the game, having created a radical urban farm, a mobile market and buying club. And they are going into the next decade with an expanded mission and name change! .
.
Now known as @theblackfeministproject there is more on the horizon, like expanding their food services and outreach, launching a young women’s empowerment program, and building a storefront space to support the community. .
