Love you Shirley TY for these epic words🙌🫶RP @garbage Mallory Knox @juliettelewis popped by last night to fuck with my equilibrium at our show in Santa Barbara. This girl. I don’t even know where to start. Something strange happened to me when I first saw her in Natural Born Killers. I used to recite all her lines in the studio all the time. I just loved the character of Mallory so much. Fragile, wounded , dangerous and deranged. I had never seen a women portrayed that way before. It was exciting to me. A woman wielding such twisted power and lacking entirely in empathy, the trait most traditionally associated with the nurturer, the mother, the universal mother. And even though I knew I wasn’t supposed to love Mallory Knox, I found her irresistible. Cut to years later I am at the most desperately missed Arclight Cinema here in LA and who bounces up to introduce herself but the divine Juliette Lewis herself and an immediate connection was forged. She remains someone dear to me. High energy, fragile and sweet. Raw as a bone. Talented beyond measure. A truly great and gifted actress and bone fide rockstar. I am so grateful she has blessed me with her deep understanding, her formidable energies , her support. Something exists between us that is inexplicable. A bond. A proper , fully charged connection. . And thanks to everyone who came out last night to our show. The bond that exists between garbage and you is pretty long lasting and meaningful too.
