Kiana Madeira Instagram – The highlight is highlighting 🙊 I’m having fun learning about the products that my skin loves. The products that illuminate my skin, not mask it. Growing up, I didn’t wear makeup but after years in this industry, I’ve had my makeup done by so many amazingly talented artists and I’ve learned a lot about what makes me feel the most confident. When women attend red carpets, we’re often told that we need to wear a lot of makeup “because of the flashing lights”, but why aren’t men told the same thing? I’ve sat in makeup chairs for hours prior to attending events while Lovell can chill and play video games (no shade, babe. I love that for you 😂💜) So I’ve decided to empower myself by doing my own makeup for events and red carpets. This look took me about 10 minutes and when I see photos, I see ME. I’ve truly never felt more confident on a red carpet before. I’m excited for this journey and so grateful to every single makeup artist who has taught me about my skin and has helped guide me to this decision. Whether you love a lot of makeup or gravitate towards minimal or none, the choice is ours to make. The truth is- those flashing lights LOVE our faces in all of our naturalness and beauty 😍
