Marla Sokoloff Instagram – I was telling my wonderfully supportive friend @lindsaysloaneyup that I feel so weird and uncomfortable posting and promoting this movie so much. She very kindly reminded me that the journey in this business isn’t always an easy road and that celebrating the joy-filled moments is important because we weather so much of the hard. (Believe me, there’s been a LOT of hard.) As much as it makes me feel wildly uncomfortable to say it, I’m really proud of this movie. I wrote Sweet On You while baby Harper was growing in my belly and was lucky enough to collaborate on every detail with the most supportive partner, @haylieduff. Not only is she a fierce and fearless producer (and sometimes my life coach), she is a flawless actress that makes it all look so dang easy. On top of it all, the most talented cast found this movie and brought such life to these characters, more than I could ever have imagined. And I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you that the music by @alecpuro is my favorite part. Not to mention the sheer beauty that @jlarsl gave to each and every frame. If you are able to tune in to our little movie, please know that I’m more grateful than you will ever know. ❤️ Sweet On You premieres this Sunday 2/26 on @up_tv
