Nadhiya Instagram – Oru Paathiraa Swapnam Pole, Like a Midnight Dream, is a final year dissertation Malayalam film made by the students of Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata. The 37 minute short film, directed by Sharan Venugopal is premiering at the prestigious Indian Panorama section of the 51st International Film Festival of India (IFFI, Goa). I am extremely proud of Sharan Venugopal and his entire team and am overjoyed for their success. Wishing these students a very bright future in cinema!

Nadhiya Instagram – Sweet and Sour Cranberry Pickle 🍒 Winter time favorite! 

Ingredients: 
500 gms fresh cranberries (not dried)
1.5 cups cooking oil (either groundnut oil or sunflower oil)
5-6 teaspoons mustard seeds 
2 teaspoons asafoetida
2 teaspoons chili powder 
150 gms mango pickle masala 
3/4 cup sugar 
Salt 

Recipe: 
1. Wash and dry the cranberries and then cut the cranberries in halves.
2. Pour the oil into the vessel.
3. Turn the flame up.
4. Once the oil is hot, lower the flame and add mustard seeds, asafoetida, chilli powder and then immediately turn the gas off. 
5. Add pickle masala and cranberries to the vessel.
6. Add salt and sugar as per your taste.
7. Mix all the ingredients together till it turns into a gravy/pickle texture. 
8. Keep the vessel aside and stir the pickle every 2-3 hours. 

*Check for salt and sugar according to your taste because the cranberries release their flavors over time.

*Remove excess oil if needed.
After 1-2 days, store the pickle in a glass bottle and refrigerate.
