I don’t play any instruments but this one came so naturally to me.. I can only imagine that the soundscapes created by my ancestors were just as beautiful as the landscapes they left behind. As Indigenous rights are being eroded all over South America, may these beautiful sounds bring back the memories of all we have lost… our sacred connection to plants, animals, fungi, mountains, rivers, ocean – our birthright to be co-creators in beauty and biodiversity. By enslaving ourselves to capitalism and as a result of our arrogance and short-sightedness we are losing the cultural and biodiversity that makes our existence on this planet so special. This time in human history has been entrusted to us and the decisions we make will effect future generations. What will we choose? Biodiversity or profit? Shares in invisible wealth or true prosperity of clean air, water and soil? Tolerance and loving kindness or shame and hatred? What world will we create ? 🌿 🌍
