After long stints of waitressing and working at a job centre, she hit gold with the sitcom Pulling. Next up was the equally brilliant Catastrophe, and now Bad Sisters, which has been renewed for another season. In her HUNGER 28 interview, Horgan opens up about how the British television industry has shifted in favour of female voices, and the importance of ensuring that her comedy always comes with a conscience. “It’s not a conscious decision to always create work about women, I love writing male characters for example, but it feels comfortable.
