Shritama Mukherjee Instagram – Running a business isn’t EASY. This picture was taken on 14th January, 2022. Later this year, I launched my beauty brand @tgmbeauty_ while working on my lifestyle platform @thegreenmavenn and got married to my long term boyfriend and business partner @akash_r_sahni . The year taught me so much about myself and life in general.  I took the first picture with no intention of sharing it with anyone. I wanted to just save this as a memory of the not-so-good times when I was struggling mentally, emotionally and spiritually to find balance in life, so I can look back at it some day and realise that whatever has come my way hasn’t been easy and I shall always be grateful to the universe for it. But today I felt like sharing it with y’all… because social media can be a very toxic place where you have to constantly show up as happy, content and living the best life which is far from reality. We need this place to be real, so people don’t draw false inspiration and can apply the lessons learnt to their own lives to improve their overall being.  This past month I have taken time to heal and reconnect with myself doing the things that give me joy, water my creativity and uplift my soul. I just want to tell you that it’s okay to not feel okay and to take time to heal and comprehend instead of getting stuck in the rigmarole of life. Don’t care about what others think.
