Shweta Bachchan Nanda Instagram – Kyoto when it rains ~ it wasn’t the perfect day to visit, it wasn’t the right time either, we just caught the fag end of cherry blossom season. My shoes were soaked through and I am not a fan of the rain, but the Japanese have a term ” kintsugi ” a metaphor for embracing flaws and imperfections. So in that spirit we set forth and actually had a wonderful time! I feel if I am to ever learn patience it will be here where the people are so mindful taking time to enjoy the smallest things. Our guide insisted we visit the Starbucks built inside an ancient home, the old street was charming and so clean but most importantly no one was in a hurry, but me, I was dying to write this all down before I forget. 🌸
