I love how architecture represents the time in which it was built in, and its cultural confluence. City palace is a beautiful melting pot of so many cultures that contribute to its art. . Cross beams, pillars and stunning carvings from Hindu temple architecture, cusped and scalloped domes which are Mughal and Persian influences. Floral tiles, colour schemes and settings from the Victorian era, Chandeliers and Buggy from Europe, painted tiles from China, coloured glasses from Belgium and so much more. Sigh! ❤️ . .
